Los muchachos de Stone Temple Pilots grabaron el tema "BUT NOT TONIGHT", para el soundtrack de la futura comedia "Not Another Teen Movie". Esté soundtrack contendrá temas exitosos de los años ochenta realizados por bandas de los noventas.Tambien se incluirá la version de Never Let Me Down Again de los Smashing Pumpkins.
Otros temas que contendrá serán :
Marilyn Manson - realizando el cover de "Tainted Love." (Soft Cell)
Orgy - realizando el cover de "Blue Monday" (New Order)

'Goodnight Lovers' fue confirmado como 4° single del disco Exciter como se venia rumoreando , la fecha de lanzamiento sería el 21 de Enero del 2002, una version de "When the Body Speaks" remixada por Gareth Jones sera incluida en el single, uno de los encargados de remezclar 'Goodnight Lovers' es Kriedler.

Convencido que tiene mucho para dar y cantar,el líder y cantante de Depeche Mode tiene pensado grabar un disco solista para el 2002. Dave Gaham ha hecho unas declaraciones en las que confiesa lo honradísimos que él y sus compañeros se sentirían, si artistas de la talla de Bjork y PJ Harvey colaboraran en su nuevo álbum. El músico ha declarado, que quiere contar con vocalistas invitadas en su próximo álbum. Bjtrk y PJ Harvey aparecen como las favoritas del "Depeche Mode". "Me encantaría hacer un dueto con PJ Harvey en el álbum. Sé que Nick Cave ya ha trabajado con ella, tiene una voz peculiar. También me gustaría trabajar con Bjork. Realmente tiene talento", comentó el cantante. Por otro lado y para desmentir especulaciones que empezaban a oirse de diferentes bocas, Gahan asegura que aunque se embarque en una carrera como solista, no va a dejar su banda principal. "Voy a seguir con Depeche...pero hay cosas que quiero contar y experiencias que quiero vivir, que se adaptan mejor a un álbum solista", dijo. Depeche Mode sigue recorriendo el mundo en una gira de cinco meses de duración que llegará a Barcelona el próximo 13 de octubre y a Madrid un día después, el domingo 14 de octubre. Para este segundo y último concierto en España, ya no quedan entradas disponibles. Aunque sobria, la propuesta de los británicos en directo se espera con los brazos abiertos y se ha reflejado en la venta de localidades .M La gira mundial de Depeche Mode, que arrancó el pasado 11 de junio en Québec (Canadá) llegará a España los próximos 13 y 14 de octubre. El Palau Sant Jordi de Barcelona y La Cubierta de Leganés (Madrid) serán escenarios del directo de esta banda, que con más de veinte años de carrera y tras algunos baches provocados por la adicción a las drogas de su cantante, sigue en activo y atraviesa un buen momento. La gira del álbum "Exciter", de cinco meses de duración, hará parada en Barcelona y Madrid en un par de meses, aunque las entradas para el concierto de la plaza de Toros "La Cubierta" de Leganés (Madrid) se han agotado.
